2 arrested after ‘significant quantity of narcotics’ seized in Marshall

MARSHALL, Texas (KETK) – Two people were arrested in Marshall early Friday morning after a strategic narcotics search warrant was conducted.

According to Marshall PD, the operation happened in the 1600 block of Sanford Street and led to the seizure of “a significant quantity of illegal narcotics and several firearms.”

Johnathen O’Neal, 41 of Marshall, was arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, three separate charges for possession of a controlled substance and endangering a child.

The police department said all drug charges will carry a drug-free zone designation, and O’Neal was booked into the Harrison County Jail where his bond was set at total $400,000.

Daviesha Lewis, 38 of Marshall, was arrested for resisting arrest, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and endangering a child. Her bond was set at a total $103,000.

The narcotics search warrant was conducted by the Marshall PD Special Response Team alongside the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Response Team. The operation was initiated by the Joint Harrison County Violent Crime and Narcotics Task Force.
