2 cited, released for prostitution at Rosedale massage parlor

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Two women were cited and released for allegedly being involved in prostitution at a Rosedale massage parlor Tuesday, according to the Sheriff’s office.

In the last several months, KCSO received multiple complaints about Heavenly Massage parlor allegedly providing prostitution services to customers inside the northwest Bakersfield business.

Undercover officers investigated the claims Tuesday and cited two woman, a 38-year-old of Bakersfield and a 35-year-old from West Covina, for solicitation of prostitution and violating numerous county ordinances. The public health department ordered Heavenly Massage to close immediately due to the multiple violations, the Sheriff’s office said.

Officials said anyone who suspects illicit activity at a massage facility is asked to call KCSO at 661-861-3110 or Secret Witness hotline at 661-322-4040.
