2 dead, 2 injured in Green Valley shooting

Dec. 6—GREEN VALLEY — Two people are dead and two injured after a shooting Wednesday afternoon on Ceres Hollow Road, the Bluefield Daily Telegraph has confirmed.

The suspect in the shootings is one of the deceased. He was not shot by law enforcement, according to the Daily Telegraph source.

"The suspect is not at large," the official source said.

The incident occurred around 3 p.m. Wednesday at 261 New Hope-Ceres Road.

Law enforcement swarmed the scene in the minutes after the incident. Many units of the West Virginia State Police and Mercer County Sheriff's Office were visible at the crime site.
