2 dead, 2 injured after shooting at Bridgeport sports bar
Two men are dead and two more injured after a shooting at Mangoz Sports Bar in Bridgeport early Sunday morning, police said.
According to Bridgeport police, a 19-year-old man and a 24-year-old man were pronounced dead at Bridgeport Hospital, while a 26-year-old man sustained serious injuries and a 21-year-old man experienced non-life threatening injuries.
Police are withholding the identities of the victims pending autopsies and the notification of their next of kin.
Police said the shooting occurred just before 1 a.m. Sunday morning. Officer arrived to find a “large uncooperative crowd,” according to police, and received assistance from Stratford Police and the Connecticut State Police.
Police did not identify any suspects Sunday morning.
