2 identified in fatal Moab collision on SR-191

MOAB, Utah (ABC4) — Two people are dead following a head-on collision Tuesday on SR-191 near Moab.

At approximately 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, a woman driving a Toyota Camry with a juvenile passenger was going southbound on SR-191 near milepost 120 when officials said a man driving a Chevrolet Equinox crossed the center line and hit the Camry head-on.

The woman, identified as Jennifer Ann Relph, 46, of Moab, died at the scene. The juvenile and man were both transported to the hospital in critical condition where the man, identified as Martin J Espinoza, 50, of Moab, died Wednesday night, according to the Utah Department of Public Safety. The juvenile’s condition is unknown.

Lane closures were in effect for several hours following the crash as Utah Highway Patrol officials investigated the incident.
