2 juveniles arrested after Thursday night shooting, aggravated robbery

Two teen suspects were arrested on aggravated robbery charges after a reported shooting Thursday night.

According to the Amarillo Police Department, on Thursday, at 6:13 p.m., Amarillo officers were sent to the 4000 block of Neuches on reports of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found a 17-year-old male victim had been robbed and shot. He was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The two suspects were identified and arrested.

One suspect, a 14-year-old boy, was taken to the Youth Center of the High Plains. The second suspect was identified as Lamar Tirson, 17, and he was booked into the Potter County Detention Center. Both suspects are facing charges on aggravated robbery.

This case remains under investigation.
