2 men, ages 19 and 66, die in Hampton stabbings

Two men died Sunday afternoon from stab wounds after an altercation in Hampton.

Dispatchers were called about the incident at 4:51 p.m. in the 2300 block of Shell Road.

When police arrived, they found a 66-year-old man with stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a news release.

A 19-year-old man also had stab wounds. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries, police said.

Police say the men were involved in an altercation that led to the stabbings. Police say that all involved have been identified, but they have not released the names.

Officers are not looking for any suspects but say they’re still investigating the motive and circumstances of the incident.
