Two men have been arrested after they allegedly forged documents and enrolled as new students at Crowley High School, according to a letter sent Sept. 8 to parents.

The two men, identified by Star-Telegram media partner WFAA-TV as 20-year-old Triston Moses and 19-year-old Kierre Trenton, were arrested by school district police and face charges of tampering with government records.

Crowley ISD Superintendent Michael McFarland said in the letter that the school district “took immediate and decisive action as soon as we became aware of this situation.”

Moses and Trenton were removed from the campus and the district is working with law enforcement in the investigation, according to McFarland.

A school district spokesperson did not respond to a request from the Star-Telegram for information on why the two men are believed to have enrolled using falsified documents.

The district has enrollment processes in place to make sure documents are authentic and the information included on them is accurate, McFarland wrote in the letter.
