What to know about the Indy 500

Who are the famous people? The latest announcements: Jordan Fisher, who you might recognize from Broadway's "Dear Evan Hansen," will sing the National Anthem. Waving the green flag will be Miles Teller, who's simultaneously enjoying speedy buzz of another variety thanks to his role in "Top Gun: Maverick."

What can't you bring inside? Well, a whole bunch of things — some that you might expect and others, like stickers, that you might not. Check your cooler sizes, folks.

What do you want to eat? If you're at the track, take your pick of big squares of coffee cake, brisket, kabobs, Java House Coffee and more. If you're venturing to Speedway, look for the "next level" Neapolitan ice cream, build-your-own mac and cheese, and 60-ounce pitchers of margaritas.
