2 people rescued by Tacoma fire crews after car goes over embankment
Two people were rescued by Tacoma fire crews Wednesday afternoon after their car went over an embankment.
Tacoma Fire Department officials reported the incident on Twitter at about 4:15 p.m. Crews performed a low-angle rope rescue in the 6600 block of North Marinera Street, a residential road west of Vassault Park.
No one was injured when the car went off the road and over the embankment, landing in a wooded area, fire crews said. It’s not clear how the crash occurred.
