2 residents of Sun City assisted living facility found fatally shot
Two residents of an assisted living facility in Sun City were found fatally shot Sunday morning.
Maricopa County Sheriff's Office deputies received reports of a shooting near Royal Oak Road and 99th Avenue at approximately 9:30 a.m., according to department spokesperson Sgt. Monica Bretado.
When deputies arrived on scene, they found one man and one woman with gunshot wounds. There were no outstanding suspects at this time, Bretado said.
Authorities have not provided additional information at this time.
Royal Oaks assisted living facility could not be immediately reached for comment.
