2 women share their stories to remove mental health stigma

Two Baltimore County women are sharing their experiences with a determination to remove any stigma associated with mental health. WBAL-TV is launching a major public awareness campaign as we mark Mental Health Awareness Month. It's called Maryland Peace of Mind, and it's aimed at helping to normalize the conversation around mental health and identifying when people need help. Just about 3 miles separates Michelle from Lorrie, whom 11 News is not identifying by last name. They're two women who don't know each other, but who share a level of deep, emotional discomfort exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic.
