Based on a true story, we follow Johnny Depp as he plays an FBI undercover agent who gets in real deep with the mob, particularly with an aging foot soldier (Al Pacino).

Depp and Pacino are fantastic opposite one another.

"The Gentlemen"

Guy Ritchie goes back to his old crime capers storytelling ways with this 2019 release that focuses on Matthew McConaughey as a cannabis wholesaler whose interest to get out of the business launches a string of doubles crosses and blackmail.

The movie also has great performances from Charlie Hunnam, Colin Farrell, Henry Golding, and Hugh Grant.

"The Good Nurse"

Eddie Redmayne and Jessica Chastain are fantastic in this thriller that's based on the real life serial killer Charles Cullen.

"The Guilty"

This remake of the 2018 Danish movie of the same name is a different kind of crime thriller as it all takes place in a 911 call center.

Jake Gyllenhaal plays a troubled LAPD officer who is forced to work the nigh shift while awaiting an investigation on him to be complete. But things don't go right for him after he takes on a frantic 911 call.

"Hell or High Water"

In a script written by "Yellowstone" creator Taylor Sheridan and an all-star cast made up of Chris Pine, Ben Foster, Jeff Bridges, and Gil Birmingham, this crime thriller set in the modern-day west is a must-see as two brothers (Pine and Foster) turn to crime for a better life.

"I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore"

Melanie Lynskey stars as a depressed woman who after being burgled finds a new purpose in life: tracking down the thieves. She teams with her weird neighbor (Elijah Wood) to track them down and they find themselves going up against people more twisted than them.

Lynskey and Wood are fantastic together in this one, we really want to see them in a movie together again.

"Legend"

Tom Hardy plays real-life identical twin gangsters Ron and Reggie Kray, who during the 1960s terrorized the London underworld.

Hardy is great in a pair of roles that show off all his skills.

"Molly's Game"

This looks at the rise and fall of Molly Bloom, a former Olympic-class skier who ran the world's most exclusive high-stakes poker game until it was crumbled by the FBI.

Jessica Chastain gives a powerful performance as the strong-willed Bloom who will not go down without a fight.

"Monster"

This 2003 thriller from director Patty Jenkins stars Charlize Theron in an Oscar-winning performance as real-life serial killer Aileen Wuornos.

"Natural Born Killers"

Oliver Stone's violent take on Bonnie and Clyde in the if-it-bleeds-it-leads media era is topped by chilling performances by Woody Harrelson and Juliette Lewis.

Following the overnight success of Guy Ritche's first movie "Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels," Hollywood wanted a piece of him and he didn't disappoint.

He brought along many of the actors he made stars with that movie (including Jason Statham and former soccer player Vinnie Jones) and enlisted the star power of Brad Pitt to create this stylish crime thriller as his follow-up.

"Training Day"

Based on the corrupt happenings by the LAPD in the 1990s, this edge-0f-your-seat crime thriller penned by David Ayer and directed by Antoine Fuqua is a wild ride as Denzel Washington plays a narcotics officer who shows the ropes to his new rookie, played by Ethan Hawke.
