Plenty of celebrity couples got married in the 2010s.
A few pairs had extravagant weddings in castles, palaces, and other picturesque locations.
The 20 biggest celebrity weddings of the decade are listed below, in chronological order.
Emily Blunt and John Krasinski had a private wedding ceremony in Como, Italy in July 2010.
Blunt and the "Office" star's engagement was revealed in August 2009.
According to Us Weekly, the bride "wore a custom cream chiffon sweetheart draped Marchesa gown with embroidered detail."
Celebrity attendees included Meryl Streep (who costarred in "The Devil Wears Prada" with Blunt and "It's Complicated" with Krasinski), George Clooney and then-girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis, Matt Damon and wife Luciana Barroso, Billy Crudup, Jimmy Kimmel, Stanley Tucci (who's married to Blunt's sister, Felicity Blunt), and David Schwimmer.
Prior to the wedding, the stars were photographed having fun on a cruise.
On December 11, 2010, Joel Madden and Nicole Richie got married at Lionel Richie's California mansion.
The couple started dating in 2006 and welcomed their first child, daughter Harlow Madden, in January 2008. The following year, they expanded their family with the birth of a son named Sparrow Madden.
Richie and the Good Charlotte member confirmed their engagement in early 2010 and tied the knot later that year.
According to People the bride wore three Marchesa dresses (including one made from "more than 100 yards of hand-draped silk organza and tulle petals"). Their daughter was the flower girl and their son was the ring-bearer.
Us Weekly reported that Reverend Run officiated the ceremony and they had 150 guests, including Khloe Kardashian and DJ Samantha Ronson.
According to "E! News," Benji Madden (the groom's brother) was the best man and other attendees included Gwen Stefani, Gavin Rossdale, Kris Jenner, Ellen Pompeo, and Pete Wentz.

Their royal wedding was a highlight of the decade. Middleton, wearing an Alexander McQueen dress that featured a billowing skirt with lace sleeves, was walked down the aisle by her father. She carried a bouquet filled with myrtle hyacinth, ivy, and lily-of-the-valley. Meanwhile, the groom wore the Irish Guards Mounted Officer's uniform for his big day.
Middleton chose her sister, Pippa Middleton, to be her maid of honor and Prince William selected Prince Harry as his best man.
After exchanging vows, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge kissed at the balcony of Buckingham Palace, as hundreds of people stood outside to witness the historic moment.
Their wedding cake, made by Fiona Cairns, was a multi-tiered fruit cake with delicate icing covering it.
You can relive Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding in this lengthy video shared by the royal family's YouTube profile.
In 2011, Kim Kardashian famously ended her relationship with Kris Humphries 72 days after their blowout wedding.
The couple got engaged in May 2011 after dating for six months. In August of that year, they exchanged vows in an over-the-top celebration.
The wedding included a six-foot-tall cake and catering provided by well-known chef Wolfgang Puck. The bride also wore three dresses, all designed by Vera Wang, and the groom wore a white tuxedo.
Robin Thicke introduced the newlyweds and their first dance was to his song called "Angels," "E! News" reported. The publication also reported that Kardashian and her famous siblings changed into custom "Team Hump" Juicy Couture tracksuits.
Eva Longoria, Mario Lopez, Lindsay Lohan, Demi Lovato, Ryan Seacrest, and Serena Williams were among approximately 400 guests at the wedding.
Multiple outlets reportedly paid between $30,000 and $100,000 for the exclusive rights to photos from the celebration. The Hollywood Reporter also reported that Kardashian wore jewelry worth millions and the couple likely got items for their wedding at discounted prices or for free from companies that benefited from the exposure.
In October, E! aired a two-night special called "Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event," documenting the festivities. Later that month, Kardashian revealed that she ended her relationship with Humphries.
Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively had their wedding in South Carolina in 2012 and fans still have yet to see a full photo of the A-list couple on their big day.
Despite the lack of photos, Reynolds and Lively's nuptials at Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant were still a big event that year. It's also the same place featured in the 2004 movie "The Notebook."
Martha Stewart Weddings shared a few images from the event, showing the bride's bouquet and their wedding cake, which had vanilla and sour cream flavors with peach-apricot preserves and Earl Grey-milk chocolate buttercream. Other treats included s'mores bars and tarts.
Another image shared by the publication gave a glimpse of the bride and groom holding hands. Lively wore a Marchesa dress that "featured a fitted bodice, illusion crystal beading on the shoulders, and rose-gold embroidery."
According to People, Florence Welch (from Florence and the Machine) performed at the reception.
The stars have since faced backlash over their wedding venue, since African American slave labor previously took place at that plantation.
Jessica Biel ditched the traditional white wedding dress in favor of a pale pink one for her 2012 wedding to Justin Timberlake.
In October 2012, People and Hello! magazine released the same image of the couple on their wedding day, with the groom ecstatic and jumping in the air. Biel, who wore a custom-made Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gown, told People that their Italian wedding "was a total fantasy experience."
He also codesigned his Tom Ford tuxedo and played "an original piece I wrote specifically for the evening and for her" as Biel walked down the aisle.
The ceremony took place at Borgo Egnazia resort and according to "E! News," the couple chose Donny Hathaway's "A Song For You" as their first dance song and had Questlove as their DJ. The publication also reported that Biel and Timberlake recited handwritten vows.
Jimmy Fallon, Andy Samberg, Timbaland, and Beverley Mitchell were among the 150 guests.
In 2013, Timberlake recalled Fallon, his longtime friend, "shouting a joke from his seat" in the middle of the groom's wedding reception speech.
"It turned into a moment that everyone there will remember forever," the former NSYNC member said.

They were joined by celebrity guests like Kanye West, Stevie Wonder (who performed "Ribbons In The Sky), and model Brooklyn Decker (one of the bridesmaids). According to Martha Stewart Weddings, there were 125 people present.
"One of the first vacations we took together was to Lake Como, so we thought it would be nice to marry where we fell in love," Legend told the publication.
The couple, who started dating in 2007, also selected a four-tier carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and they drove off in a vintage Rolls-Royce. Teigen and Legend also wrote their vows and the groom sang "All of Me."
In May 2014, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian got married at Fort di Belvedere in Florence, Italy.
Plenty of stars were in attendance for Kardashian and West's nuptials. Lana Del Rey reportedly sang three songs at their wedding rehearsal at the Palace of Versailles and legendary singer Andrea Bocelli performed "Con te Partirò" as the bride walked down the aisle.
The couple exchanged vows while surrounded by a stunning wall of flowers, with their famous friends and family members (including their daughter, North) in the audience. An image of the bride and groom kissing in front of the floral decor also became the most-liked photo on Instagram at the time, dethroning a selfie that Justin Bieber posted of himself with then-girlfriend Selena Gomez.
Kardashian wore a lace gown from Givenchy Haute Couture and the rapper wore a custom Givenchy tuxedo. The bride changed into a shorter dress, which "E! News" reported was designed by Balmain, for the reception and the couple posed in matching "just married" jackets.

Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade tied the knot on August 30, 2014 at Chateau Artisan in Miami, Florida.
"E! News" reported that the venue looked similar to a castle and was surrounded by a moat.
According to wedding invitations obtained by TMZ, attendees weren't permitted to use cameras or cell phones.
A year after the couple got married, wedding videographer Suzanne Delawar released a fake movie trailer for their wedding video. You can see the full, nearly 20 minute-long video here.

"We had red roses at our Civil Partnership 9 years ago and they brought us so much luck," John captioned one of his photos.

According to "E! News," guests were asked to make donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital and Children's Hospital Pittsburgh, rather than give the newlyweds presents.

"They had a little ambulance truck, an IV station where you could go get IV hydration," the actress said on "The Ellen Show" in February 2016.
Bowen continued: "I thought somebody had had a heart attack or there was an event, because there was this first aid truck set up outside of the pool area where all the bungalows are. And there are people sipping espresso, getting IV rehydration. There is nothing, apparently, nothing you can do in three days that can't be undone by some IV rehydration."

The bride also wore Queen Mary's diamond bandeau tiara, which was lent to her by Queen Elizabeth.
Even the small flower bouquet had a special meaning. The flowers were taken from Kensington Palace's private garden and included Forget-Me-Nots, which were Princess Diana's favorite flower.
There were also locally-sourced white peonies, white garden roses, and additional floral arrangements designed by Philippa Craddock, which lined the exterior of St. George's chapel.
Plenty of celebrities made their way to the ceremony, like Oprah Winfrey, Markle's "Suits" costar Patrick J. Adams, "Pretty Little Liars" star Troian Bellisario, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, singer James Blunt, actress Abigail Spencer, Tom Hardy, David and Victoria Beckham, and George and Amal Clooney. Elton John also performed at the lunchtime reception, which was held at St. George's Hall at Windsor Castle.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas got married during two lavish ceremonies in December 2018.

The couple tied the knot during two extravagant ceremonies at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. The venue sits on 26 acres of land, is home to both a five-star hotel and museum, and has 347 rooms, making it one of the largest private residences in the world.
They had a Christian service for Jonas' faith and a Hindu service to honor Chopra Jonas' background.
For the Western ceremony, the actress wore a custom-made Ralph Lauren gown that included a high-neck, floral and scroll motifs, and a 75-foot-long veil. Jonas' suit included a subtle nod to Chopra Jonas, with a small piece of her lace wedding dress embroidered with the Urdu words "My Jaan" (which translates to "My Life") in the inner lapel, as reported by People.
At the Hindu wedding the next day, Chopra Jonas wore a custom-made red dress by an Indian designer named Sabyasachi, which took 110 embroiderers a total of 3,720 hours to make. At the request of the bride, Jonas' name and those of Chopra Jonas' parents — her late father, Ashok, and her mother, Madhu — were sewn into the skirt's waistband in Hindi.
The couple also cut into a seven-tier cake using a knife that was shaped like a sword. The cake, which had a chandelier in it plus windows and gold columns, was inspired by the appearance of their wedding venue.
Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner had two wedding ceremonies in 2019 — one in Las Vegas and another in France.
On May 1, 2019, the couple got married at A Little White Wedding Chapel, following the Billboard Music Awards, which the Jonas Brothers performed at.
The wedding was officiated by an Elvis Presley impersonator and the guests included celebrities who were present at the BBMAs, like Khalid, country duo Dan + Shay, and the other members of the Jonas family. DJ Diplo was also present and livestreamed the event on Instagram. He later got flack for doing so without asking the bride and groom for permission.
In late June 2019, the pair tied the knot during a more formal wedding ceremony in France.
Jonas explained that they chose that destination because it's "mutual ground" for the pair.
"We both have spent a lot of time in France together," he told Dr. Phil in an interview. "It also happens to be one of the most romantic places in the world."
They were joined at the wedding by family members and friends, including Nick Jonas, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, model Ashley Graham, and Turner's "Game of Thrones" costar Maisie Williams, who served as the maid of honor.
The couple hasn't revealed many details about the event, and there are few photos that gave fans insight into the event. In early July 2019, Jonas and Turner shared the exact same black-and-white photo of them walking down the aisle and surrounded by flower petals after exchanging vows. Their dog, an Alaskan Klee Kai named Porky Basquait, also became an internet sensation after being photographed wearing a small tuxedo and bow tie outside the wedding venue.
You can read more about Jonas and Turner's love story here.
Hailey Bieber (née Baldwin) and Justin Bieber technically got married in 2018, but they held their formal wedding on September 30, 2019, in South Carolina.
