The show follows the life of impoverished elementary school student Yoon-hee, who lives with her abusive, alcoholic father and cannot afford to go to school.

A boy named Jaehyuk, who lives in the neighborhood of the playground she likes to frequent, feels sorry for the young girl and becomes protective of her.

Based on the first episode, “Bad Boy” will likely follow the relationship between Yoon-hee and Jaehyuk.
