20 restaurants in Connecticut serving up Mother’s Day specials

Mother’s Day is just around the corner and restaurants across Connecticut are gearing up for a busy Sunday.

Here is a list of restaurants that are offering special brunch and dinner menus for Mother’s Day.

The list is not all-inclusive. Call ahead to see what the dine-in, takeout and delivery options are.

The Capital Grille, 44 Front St. in Hartford, is offering Mother’s Day brunch specials for $39 each on May 14, with lobster frittata, NY strip steak and eggs, and filet mignon, all served with white cheddar hash browns, and the lobster and filet also with asparagus. Mill on the River, 989 Ellington Road in South Windsor, will offer a prix fixe Mother’s Day menu on May 14 from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., at $49.95 per person, plus tax and tip. Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, 44 S. Main St. in West Hartford: A prix fixe Mother’s Day menu is available May 13 and 14. It is a 3-course menu with fleming’s salad, Caesar salad, petite filet mignon and crab-stuffed shrimp scampi/lobster tail scampi, chocolate gooey butter cake, and New York cheesecake.
