20 West Village Eateries Participating In NYC Restaurant Week

UPPER MANHATTAN, NY — Even the coronavirus pandemic won't stop restaurant week, which gives New Yorkers the chance to taste the city's finest eateries at discounted prices.

A record number of restaurants — including 20 in the West Village — are participating in this month's "Restaurant Week To Go," which will offer select $20.21 meal options for takeout and delivery starting Monday.

"Restaurants and restaurant workers need our support now more than ever, so it was important to us that all eateries across the five boroughs had the opportunity to participate in this program aimed at increasing local support," Fred Dixon, president and CEO of NYC & Company, which organizes the annual event, said in a statement.

To further support restaurants, the platforms Seamless, Grubhub, BentoBox, Bbot and Tock have agreed to discount commissions or waive delivery fees.
