After 200,000 votes, here are the winners of Sun Herald’s 2023 Crawfish Bracket

Two is better than one.

After five intense rounds and more than 200,000 votes, the Sun Herald is crowning two Gulfport restaurants as winners of Sun Herald’s second annual Crawfish Bracket.

Claw Daddy’s and Blazin’ Cajun each got more than 30,000 votes in the final round. A surge in voting in the final few hours of the poll may have affected vote counts. Since the vote was so close, both are winners!

Claw Daddy’s serves crawfish, seafood and all the sides at their boiler room in Gulfport. Blazin’ Cajun also serves crawfish, in addition to Chinese food, Southern soul food and a changing buffet.

The Crawfish Bracket began with 24 restaurants who were voted by South Mississippi has having the best crawfish on the Coast. Sun Herald readers voted for their favorites in each round of voting.
