200 Sacramento inmates to be released early amid COVID-19, overcrowding

Sacramento County jails are holding roughly 400 more people than they should, and dozens of positive cases have been reported in two different facilities. People charged with violent felonies, domestic violence, DUI and nuisance offenses will not be among those released.
