How exactly? The sunscreen is oil-free, which means it's less likely to clog your pores and thus, potentially able to cut down on the breakouts. Two, it has a mineral-based formula that contains 9.0 percent zinc oxide and 7.5 percent octinoxate. This is important, because unlike chemical-based sunscreens that tend to penetrate the skin, mineral-based sunscreens provide a barrier on top on the skin and helps reflect UV rays.
Third, the sunscreen contains hyaluronic acid and "is formulated with 5 percent high-purity niacinamide to help reduce the appearance of blemishes, discoloration and photo-damage," according to the product description. Additionally, the product boasts that it's dermatologist-recommended.
And while some sunscreens might feel heavy and greasy, this one says that it's lightweight, silky, and doesn't leave any residue.
