While no one needs a trash can that opens automatically, it is nice to have if you’re going to be spending more time in the kitchen, and it instantly makes your kitchen surprisingly look more put together.
The sensor trash can is super convenient for those times your hands are full or covered in flour. While it opens to a wave of the hand or by walking in front of the sensor, you can also say “can open” and “can close” to open and close the lid. Plus, once you use Simplehuman’s trash can liners that are made to perfectly fit in its trash cans, you won’t even want to use another trash bag brand again. There’s also a hidden compartment inside the can to store the extra bags.
If you want an easy way to organize your recyclables, the sensor can comes in a version that has both a trash and recycling side, or if you don’t have enough space, it comes in a smaller semi-round 45-liter model too.
