Apr. 9—CHADD CORSON WILSON JR. — Won District 3 Class 3A gold medal in the 100 backstroke and qualified for PIAA meet in the 100 butterfly. Helped team place seventh in medley relay and eighth in 400 free relay at states.

Joshua Cunningham Wilson Sr.: Earned seventh-place PIAA Class 3A medal on Wilson's 200 medley relay team and swam on the 200 free relay team.

Isaiah Eberly Wilson So.: Earned eighth-place PIAA Class 3A medal on Wilson's 400 free relay team and swam on the 200 free relay team.

Ben Gerhard Gov. Mifflin Jr.: PIAA Class 3A silver medalist in the 500 free and bronze medalist in the 200 free. Won District 3 title in 500 free.

Chris Guiliano Daniel Boone Sr.: Captured PIAA and District 3 Class 3A gold medals in the 100 and 200 free and set Berks and District 3 meet records in the 50, 100 and 200 free.

Evan Hebel Wilson Sr.: Swam on Wilson's PIAA Class 3A qualifying 200 free relay team.

Takoda Heckman Wilson So.: District 3 Class 3A runner-up and PIAA qualifier in the 200 IM. Helped Wilson win District 3 gold and PIAA seventh-place medals in the medley relay and PIAA eighth-place medal in 400 free relay.

Cameron Reeder Wilson Sr.: Had county's best time in the 100 breaststroke, helped Wilson medley relay team win District 3 Class 3A gold and state seventh-place medals.

Carter Sweigart Gov. Mifflin Jr.: Averaged a season-high 272.75. Central Penn League runner-up and District 3 Class 3A fifth-place finisher.

Josh Woessner Wilson So.: Earned eighth-place PIAA Class 3A medal on Wilson's 400 free relay team and swam on the 200 free relay team.

Swimmer of the Year

Chris Guiliano, Daniel Boone

Daniel Boone senior Chris Guliano has been a dominant swimmer at the state level for the past two seasons.

Guiliano also has dominated Berks County swimming for the past two seasons. For the second straight year, Guiliano was voted the Berks Swimmer of the Year.

Guiliano won PIAA Class 3A gold medals this season in the 100- and 200-yard freestyles. He won the gold medal in the 200 free as a junior as well.

Guiliano set District 3 records in the 50, 100 and 200 free free this season while winning gold medals in the 100 and 200 events.

Guiliano, who will attend Notre Dame in the fall, finished his high school career holding the Berks record in the 50, 100 and 200 free.

Boys diving

Carter Sweigart, Gov. Mifflin

Carter Sweigart led the Central Penn League with a 272.75 scoring average this season.

The senior was named the Berks County boys Diver of the Year.

Sweigart was the CPL runner-up and finished fifth in the District 3 Class 3A Championships.
