The 2020 Chevy Corvette C8 Will Start at Less Than $60,000
Mark Reuss announced that the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8 will start at under $60,000 when it goes on sale late this year.
That will make the C8 just a few thousand dollars more than the base price of the current C7 model.
The new C8 is faster, more advanced, and more luxurious than the car it replaces.
During the launch event of the all-new Chevy Corvette earlier tonight, Mark Reuss announced that the mid-engined supercar will start at less than $60,000 when it goes on sale in late 2019. We expect that means the C8 will have a starting price at $59,995 before any destination or other required charges, meaning it will really be a bit over the $60K mark once the dotted lines are signed.
Still, that's a hell of a deal, as the current C7 car starts at $56,995 including its $1095 destination charge. Beyond just the placement of the engine, the new C8 is a huge step up from the C7, with more power, a sub-three-second zero-t0-60 time, a much more luxurious interior, and a lot more standard and available features.
Alongside the reveal of the car, Chevy has launched a new online reservation program for prospective owners to configure, reserve, and order their C8s; dealers are also now taking orders for the car.
