2020 Christmas Lights Displays In Ocean County: Check Them Out

OCEAN COUNTY, NJ — If you were a kid in the 1970s and '80s, you probably spent at least one evening each December driving around in your family's station wagon with the fake wood panels listening to your mom "ooo" and "ahh" over the holiday decorations in town.

With activities limited this December because of the coronavirus pandemic, we at Patch wanted to round up a list of homes that are decking out the halls — and the eaves and the yards — and want to share their love of the holidays with others.

The following is a list of addresses, organized by town, where people are looking forward to you checking out their lights displays. Also included are how long the displays will be up and extras if they have them.

If your address isn't on our list, you can add it here and we'll update our list.

Our show grew from just our house to now including four of our neighbors' houses. Our magical lights dance to a combination of traditional Christmas songs with Disney songs. Every Tuesday night, Mickey Mouse and his pals take over our show and play their favorite Disney songs all night. Every year we collect donations for Children's Specialized Hospital in Toms River. We raised just over $3,000 last year, and we are hoping to raise $5,000 this year! We also collect letters for Santa! Each night Santa's reindeer come and pick up the letter and deliver them right to the big guy himself. As long as there is a return address someplace in the letter, Santa may write back!
