Election results map: Live updates by state
The results are trickling in for the 2020 US presidential election as the race remains on a knife-edge as of Wednesday afternoon.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, more Americans used mail-in ballots, meaning that the outcome of the election is taking longer than some previous years, as those are counted.
The races has come down to just a few critical battleground states, including Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Georgia, Arizona and Nevada.
