2021 Chevy Trailblazer SUV to start under $20,000

LOS ANGELES – Chevrolet revealed that prices for its new 2021 Trailblazer small SUV will start under $20,000 when sales begin next spring.

The Trailblazer, which borrows styling cues from the popular and larger Blazer, fits between the subcompact Trax and Equinox SUVs. It gives Chevrolet a full line of entry-level models to replace the small cars the brand has ceased selling.

“Slotting between the Trax and Equinox, the addition of the Trailblazer provides us with a great opportunity to expand the Chevy SUV family to new audiences,” said Steve Majoros, director of Chevrolet passenger car and crossover marketing.

Chevy’s beginning to catch up with the level of driver-assistance features competitors offer as standard equipment on inexpensive vehicles.

A new trim level called Activ will come with a white roof, re-tuned shocks and 17-inch Hankook tires.
