We've got another edition of Sunday Reads: Sports for you this week!

First up, we've got the 2021 Taunton Daily Gazette Boys Soccer All-Scholastics team. It was another eventful season out on the pitch for the Greater Taunton area boys high school soccer teams, and these these 10 players in particular stood out.

The Taunton High School boys basketball team wrapped up the week with a big accomplishment: for the first time in school history, they are the outright Hockomock League Kelley-Rex Division champions. The Tigers beat Milford 68-48 at home in their final league game of the season to secure the title.

'Roadfood' visits SouthCoast to sample Portuguese cuisine

"Roadfood" host Misha Collins filmed an episode of how show on the SouthCoast, highlighting Portuguese cuisine. The show follows Collins as he travels the country and learns about the different areas through its food. See where he stopped, and what he tried.

Book explores national, personal history for Black History Month

Author Adrea Theodore explores the intersection of Black history and personal history in her debut picture book, “A History of Me.” A Junior Library Guild Gold Standard selection, “A History of Me” was inspired by Theodore’s learning experiences in school, as well as those of her daughter.

“Much of the history that I learned as a child did not mention or stress these things or provide the opportunity to recognize Black Americans' humanity,” Theodore says. “Rather than feeling shame, as I did for many years, I hope that descendants of those enslaved can understand the rich legacy that is theirs.”
