Last district title: 2017

Players to watch: Kamune Mrisho, center back, Jr.; Ramiro Padilla, midfielder, Sr.; David Damian, goalkeeper, Sr.

Coach Munoz says: “We will be considered a young team having a few new players and many of those sophomores and freshmen, but we have the talent to become one of the stronger teams in our district and earn a playoff spot.”

NOTES – Cooper won three consecutive district titles from 2015-17. The Coogs won their first playoff game since 2014, beating Amarillo High 2-0 in the first round in 2018. It was only the second playoff victory for the program. Cooper is 2-10 all-time in the playoffs. The Coogs' first playoff win was a 2-1 decision over El Paso Franklin in what is now Class 6A in 2014.
