PUT-IN-BAY — South Bass Island will again play host in 2022 to one of the biggest summer concert events in the region, with a pair of two country music headliners set to perform at Bash on the Bay 5.

Lake Erie Shores and Islands announced Monday that Brad Paisley and the Zac Brown Band will headline Bash on the Bay, an event owned by 614 Events, Inc., according to a news release.

The annual summer event that draws thousands to Ottawa County will be held at the Put-in-Bay airport Aug. 24 and 25.

According to the release, Paisley will headline the Aug. 24 show.

He is one of country music’s most decorated solo male artists with three Grammy awards, 14 CMAs, 15 ACMs, and many other awards.

A prolific singer-songwriter and member of the Grand Ole Opry, Paisley has written 21 of his 24 number one hits.

The band is a multi-platinum, three-time Grammy Award-winning, southern rock group known to be one of the most dynamic live acts in the business.

Zac Brown will take the stage with band members Jimmy De Martini (violin), John Driskell Hopkins (guitar), Clay Cook (guitar), Chris Fryar (drums), Coy Bowles (guitar), Daniel de los Reyes (percussion) and Matt Mangano (bass guitar).

Supporting acts Jake Owen and Chris Janson join a bill filled with top-notch country music entertainment.

“Once again, tickets for Bash on the Bay are going to be the hottest tickets of the year,” said event organizer Tim Niese of 614 Events, Inc., in the news release. “The exciting daily lineups only build on the success of our other island concerts including last year’s first-ever two-day event. Concert-goers can enjoy the resort atmosphere of Put-in-Bay while experiencing one of the most amazing music festivals in the country.”

Here is the complete line-up for the 2022 event:

Wednesday, Aug. 24: Brad Paisley, Jake Owen, Blanco Brown, Paulina Jayne and Hubie Ashcraft.

Thursday, Aug. 25, Zac Brown Band, Chris Janson, Morgan Evans, an act to be announced, and Eskimo Brothers.

Festival gates open each day at 2:30 pm.

Individual day tickets will go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m. through eTix.com.
