2022 All-Berks boys volleyball team

Jun. 17—Logan Reber, Exeter, Sr.

Two-time pick had 717 assists, 194 digs, 83 kills and 66 aces for the Berks I champions.

Braydon Ambruster, Brandywine Heights, So.

Outside hitter had 395 kills for Berks II champion Bullets, who made District 3 Class 2A quarterfinals.

Gaige Gabriel, Exeter, So.

Two-time pick had 332 kills, 128 digs and 35 aces for the District 3 Class 3A quarterfinalists.

Tyler Knoop, Gov. Mifflin, Jr.

Middle hitter had 212 kills, 61 aces and 32 blocks for the Berks champion Mustangs.

Eric Makosch, Wilson, Sr.

Outside hitter had 225 kills, 229 digs, 35 aces and 10 blocks for the Berks runner-up Bulldogs.

Luca Marchio, Wilson, Sr.

Libero had 280 digs and 31 aces for the Bulldogs, who made the District 3 Class 3A playoffs.

Aidan Young, Gov. Mifflin, Jr.

Outside hitter had 260 kills, 105 digs, 29 aces and 19 blocks for the Berks champion Mustangs.

Ryan Stubler, Gov. Mifflin, coach

Guided the Mustangs to the Berks League title and the District 3 Class 3A quarterfinals.

Player of the year

Logan Reber, Exeter

Exeter senior Logan Reber, who led the Eagles to the Berks League Division I title and a 14-3 record, was named the Berks Player of the Year in a vote of the league coaches.

The 5-11 Reber, a two-year starter and setter, played multiple positions throughout the season because of injuries to teammates and yet averaged 42.1 assists in 17 matches.

He had 53 assists in a 3-2 victory over Red Lion in a non-league match and 57 assists in a 3-1 win over Wilson in the first round of the District 3 Class 3A playoffs.

Reber will attend Lancaster Bible College, where he plans to continue his volleyball career.
