2022 Elm Tree Concert Series season continues through September

ARCADIA — Upcoming dates for Elm Tree Concerts at the Arcadia Round Barn have been announced.

Shows to close out the season include:

  • Aug. 28 — “Miss Brown to You" by Louise Goldberg and Mary Reynolds, jazz, blues, folk and original music.

  • Sept. 3 — Hi-Fi Hillbillies, rock and roll dance music with twangy guitars, electric piano, and drums.

  • Sept. 4 — Bob Wiles and Joe Baxter, singer/songwriters playing acoustic red dirt music.

  • Sept. 18 — Melissa Hembree and The Union, country music singers.

  • Sept. 25 — Terry Ware and The Shambles / The Sunday Fliers, playing instrumental music including rock, R&B, and blues.

Each concert will begin at 1 p.m. in the shade of the old elm tree in the Arcadia Round Barn picnic area.

The Arcadia Round Barn is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily six miles east of Interstate 35 on historic Route 66. Admission is free to the museum and all musical events, but donations are accepted for the maintenance of the barn, which is owned and operated by the Arcadia Historical and Preservation Society.
