The 2022 model year is shaping up to be quite the treat for Ford Bronco fans. Not only does the Blue Oval plan to roll out a Raptorized variant of the reborn off-roader next year, but an additional Bronco model is also slated to join the lineup. First confirmed back in October, the 2022 Ford Bronco Everglades embraces the 4x4’s outdoorsy DNA by incorporating focused upgrades like a factory snorkel as well as a winch and bumper package. Now thanks to the team over at Bronco Nation, we have our first chance to look over camouflaged teaser images.

In order to differentiate the new Bronco Everglades from the rest of the stable, Ford has made a series of small adjustments, many of which can be seen through the camouflage wrapping. The aforementioned snorkel is perhaps the easiest to spot running up to the length of the passenger-side A-pillar. A popular mod in the world of Jeeps, these snorkels help increase the maximum amount of water a vehicle can ford through. Currently, standard Broncos can manage just 31.5-inches of wading depth, while Sasquatch Package-equipped models can travel through a maximum depth of 33.5-inches. Speaking of the Sasquatch, it is unclear at this time whether or not the Everglades name will be reserved for a trim level or a package offered across several trims like the former.

Other tweaks include a new winch and bumper combo, which are recognizable items from several of Ford’s recent Bronco builds. Despite the familiarity, the winch is certainly a nice item to have come straight from the factory. The wheels on this particular prototype are also unique to any we’ve seen so far, and come wrapped in what appears to be 35-inch Goodyear Territory MT rubber. Either way, the truck looks great in the new Eruption green exterior hue also debuting for 2022.

While we still don’t know a ton about the Bronco Everglades, the automaker has confirmed that it expects customers to start taking deliveries by Summer 2022. Expect more information about this new off-road offering to trickle out as move through the new year.
