2022 Lake-Geauga Fast Track 50 finalists revealed prior to awards program

Oct. 2—Businesses in Lake and Geauga counties that have achieved impressive track records of success will be saluted at an annual program in November.

The 2022 Lake-Geauga Fast Track 50 will take place Nov. 3 at Wingate by Wyndham LaMalfa in Mentor. Event guests will have the opportunity to socialize and network starting at 5:30 p.m., and enjoy the dinner and awards ceremony which follows at 7.

Tickets for the gala must be purchased by Oct. 21 and can be acquired after clicking on the Awards Ceremony tab at fasttrack50.org.

Each year, the Fast Track 50 honors the fastest-growing companies in Lake and Geauga counties based on a weighted average of 80 percent sales growth and 20 percent employment growth over the previous five-year period.

Applications for the event are accepted and winners are calculated by a nonprofit board of trustees that has organized and carried out the Fast Track 50 for the past 30 years.

To be considered for a 2022 Fast Track 50 award, Established businesses needed to report revenue of at least $4 million in 2017, the baseline year for all evaluations. Emerging businesses were required to have 2017 sales of between $250,000 and $4 million.

Traditionally, the Fast Track 50 consists of 25 Emerging and 25 Established businesses.

However, the Fast Track 50's 2022 roster will consist of 49 overall winners. There are 25 Established winners and 24 Emerging winners that met the criteria to earn Fast Track 50 awards in 2022.

While the No. 1 companies in each category won't be announced until the Nov. 3 awards program, Fast Track 50 trustees have released the list of overall winners in each category, arranged strictly in alphabetical order:
