2022 Las Cruces Electric Light Parade winners announced

LAS CRUCES- The city's Parks and Recreation department has announced the 2022 Electric Light Parade winners.

The parade, which happens annually on July 3, had over 40 entries and over a thousand members of the community involved this year.

Best Overall Float: Hernandez Plumbing.

Hernandez Plumbing has won Best Overall Float nine consecutive years.

Commercial float winners:

  • 1st: Zia Natural Gas Company

  • 2nd: Little Playmates

  • 3rd: South Central Solid Waste Authority

Non-commercial float winners:

  • 1st: Save the Children Network

  • 2nd: Southwest Mopar Society Club

  • 3rd: Mud Mafia
