East Carolina baseball will host Texas in the Greenville Super Regionals starting Friday.
The Longhorns eased through the Austin Regional to get to the Supers, while East Carolina won its regional on Monday in a regional title game victory over Coastal Carolina.
Texas is 45-19 and is the No. 9 overall seed in the NCAA Baseball Tournament, while East Carolina is 45-19 and is the No. 8 overall seed in the tournament.
The Super Regionals have a simple, best two-out-of-three format. Win two games in three days, and you're headed to Omaha.
