2022 North Georgia State Fair will be Sept. 22-Oct. 2

Jun. 16—The 90th annual Superior Plumbing presents North Georgia State Fair will be Sept. 22 through Oct. 2 at Jim R. Miller Park, 2245 Callaway Road SW in Marietta.

As the largest fair in metro Atlanta, it attracts 300,000 people every year from north Georgia and neighboring states.

The fair features live music, free attractions and shows, farm animals, flower shows, blue ribbon competitions, local entertainment and fair foods. There are also games and rides on the Great James H. Drew Exposition midway — one of the largest carnival midways in the U.S., featuring the Wildcat Rollercoaster, Georgia Mountain Lift and the Mega Slide.

A covered arena guarantees concerts rain or shine, including appearances by country and contemporary Christian artists. Headlining the Carriage KIA Concert Series this year are The Afters on Sept. 23; LOCASH on Sept. 24; Josh Turner on Sept. 28; Corey Smith on Sept. 29; Michael Ray on Sept. 30; and new in 2022 the American Bull Riders Tour on Oct. 1-2. Concerts free with fair admission.

Gate admission is $10. Children 10 and under are free. Parking is $5. Ride tickets are $1.25 each. All rides require more than one ticket.
