DANI ROMERO: Welcome back, everybody. I want to bring in Dani Romero one more time, our Yahoo Finance reporter, who's taking a look at the impact small businesses in and around SoFi Stadium are going to have during Super Bowl 56 this Sunday. And Dani, I know you spoke to a few business owners. And we know we've heard about the struggles to hire enough workers during the pandemic, especially for small businesses. What has it been like for them during this very busy time leading up to the Super Bowl?

DANI ROMERO: Yeah, Alexis, you're right. Employment has been super difficult for small business owners, but because the Super Bowl will be in town, many projected new jobs are actually expected to be in event production and in the hospitality sector, areas where they were mostly hit hard by the pandemic. LA County lost 770,000 jobs between March and April of 2020.

But recently, hiring has obviously picked up due to those pandemic lockdowns easing up. And now as of December 2021-- excuse me-- the county's unemployment rate sits at 6.2%. And one restaurant owner told me that because of the Super Bowl, she's able to hire at least 15 more staff workers. So definitely it's going to be a big payday, but also a big bonus for these workers as well. Alexis.

ALEXIS CHRISTOFOROUS: Yeah, for sure, all right. Well, we wish them luck as they get ready for all those crowds there at SoFi Stadium.
