2023-2024 Best high schools rankings are out. Five Upstate schools ranked in the SC Top 25.

One Upstate school landed on U.S. News & World Report's rankings of best 2023-24 high schools list of top 10 best high schools in South Carolina.

Greenville's Wade Hampton High School was named No. 10 on the state list and ranked No. 1,372 nationally.

The rankings are determined through an evaluation of approximately 17,680 public high schools nationwide out of nearly 25,000 reviewed. Factors such as demographics, diversity, graduation and state assessment scores are all considered for placement.

Brashier Middle College Charter High School, Greer Middle College Charter High School, Green Charter School and Greenville Technical Charter High School were ranked among the Top 10 charter schools in SC.
