With offers from several Division-I programs in hand, Evans football's KD Dorsey has found a home to continue his football career.

The 2023 defensive back/wide receiver announced his commitment to Georgia Southern University Wednesday, via Twitter.

Dorsey's top six included James Madison, Arkansas State, Austin Peay, Eastern Michigan and Western Kentucky.

His athleticism and football IQ have made him an asset on both sides of the football for the Knights, which helped land him on the Augusta Chronicle Dream 16 for 2022. In just two games, Dorsey has four grabs for 125 yards and a touchdown.

Dorsey is just the latest Augusta football star to become an Eagle. Georgia Southern continues to recruit the CSRA pretty heavily in the Clay Helton era, having reeled in Augusta Christian 2022 linebacker Zack Blackwell and Greenbrier 2022 quarterback Brooks Pangle.
