2023 Colts Kickoff Concert to feature Jim Irsay Band, John Mellencamp and Stephen Stills

In celebration of the beginning of the NFL season, Indiana legend and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer John Mellencamp will give a special performance at the 2023 Colts Kickoff Concert on Sept. 8 at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The slate of artists scheduled to perform at the concert includes The Jim Irsay Band, Stephen Stills, Ann Wilson and Peter Wolf. World-renowned illusionist Criss Angel will also take the stage.

The Jim Irsay Band includes iconic performers like drummer Kenny Aronoff, actor Danny Nucci (whose credits include "Titanic" and "Crimson Tide") and three-time Grammy nominee Billy Branch. The concert will begin at 8 p.m.

Fans will also have the opportunity to view The Jim Irsay Collection, the Indianapolis Colts owner’s rare collection of artifacts from rock, pop culture and American history. Feel free to glance at Irsay’s famous guitar and instrument collection, along with 40 pieces of Colts memorabilia from the team’s history. Gates open at 4 p.m.

This collection is known as a "traveling museum" and has made appearances in Chicago, Washington, D.C., and New York City.

How to attend the 2023 Indianapolis Colts Kickoff Concert

When: Sept. 8. Doors open at 4 p.m. to view the collection and the concert begins at 8 p.m.

Where: Lucas Oil Stadium, 500 S. Capitol Ave.

Tickets: The event is open and free to the public, but tickets are required and will be handed out on a first-come, first-serve basis. Fans can visit these sites to request tickets: colts.com/concert or jimirsaycollection.com.
