2023 four-star DT Sydir Mitchell sets commitment date
2023 four-star defenive tackle Sydir Mitchell is nearing a college decision.
The New Jersey product will announce his commitment on July 3. Texas, Georgia, Miami and Texas A&M made the cut for Mitchell.

The Longhorns are trending for the high-ceiling defensive lineman. Several crystal ball projections in favor of Texas have been entered in the past few days.
Mitchell’s 6-foot-5, 335-pound frame makes him a potential game-changer for Texas’ defensive front. Loading up on talent in the trenches is a priority as Texas prepares to move to the SEC.
Texas is up to the No. 2 spot in the 2023 team recruiting rankings, landing Mitchell would help push the Horns closer to the No. 1 overall spot.
