Here’s the 2023 Lexington All-City Girls Soccer Team

The Lexington Herald-Leader and Kentucky.com are proud to present the 2023 All-City High School Girls Soccer Teams as voted on by the nine coaches of Lexington’s varsity KHSAA programs.

Frederick Douglass’ Haley Flynn was chosen as Lexington’s girls soccer player of the year.

Flynn, a senior midfielder committed to Bellarmine, led the Broncos with 19 goals and 10 assists and helped the program earn its first 42nd District tournament championship this season. She received six player of the year votes from the city’s coaches, who were not allowed to vote for their own players.

Frederick Douglass’ Haley Flynn (16) moves the ball past Henry Clay’s Claire Nicholas during the 42nd District girls soccer tournament finals on Oct. 4.
