2023 Mr. Basketball to be announced live during the Indiana High School Sports Awards show
2023 Indiana Mr. Basketball will be announced live on April 19 during the Indiana High School Sports Awards show, presented by the Indiana Pacers.
The six finalists for the award will be invited to the show, which will begin at 7 p.m. at Clowes Memorial Hall at Butler University in Indianapolis. After he is announced, the winner will come on stage for an award presentation.
13 other student-athletes will also be honored as Athletes of the Year for their respective sports during the live event, as well as “watch lists” of the top spring athletes. Finally, several premier award winners will be honored, including Boys Athlete of the Year, Girls Athlete of the Year, Coach of the Year, Boys Team of the Year, Girls Team of the Year, Courage Award, Marion County High School Female Athlete presented by Kiwanis Club of Indianapolis, and School Spirit Award. The winner of the School Spirit Award will receive $1,000 to it’s school’s athletic department. Voting on this award ends on March 31, so click here to vote now!
The Indiana High School Sports Awards recognize the top athletes from the entire state of Indiana. It is part of the USA Today High School Sports Awards program, the largest high school recognition program in the country.
