Here are the 2023 All-North Jersey boys bowling teams

After an exciting season, the following players have been selected to the 2023 All-North Jersey boys bowling teams.

FIRST TEAM

Liam Chin

Bergen Catholic senior

Chin carried the top league average (205) for the Big North United and North 1, Group 4 champions. The lefty two-hander placed eighth in the Bergen County individual tournament and 13th at the North 1 sectional to qualify for the state individual finals, and his high series was 675.

Daniel Jeetan

Wallington senior

The Panthers’ anchor averaged 205 overall in leading them to the NJIC Meadowlands and conference-tournament titles, plus a third straight sectional crown. A repeat first-teamer, Jeetan rolled a 296 high game, 768 high series and reached the state individual finals for a second time.

Sean Kim

Old Tappan senior

The National Division-winning Golden Knights had the highest per-bowler average in the Big North (191), and Kim was tops on the team at 205. He finished runner-up at the inaugural Co-ed Classic, placed seventh in the Bergen individual tournament and registered a 288 high game.

Andrew Lee

Glen Rock senior

Lee returns to the first team after posting the best league average in North Jersey (210) and finishing 14th at the state individual finals. He paced the Panthers to second in the Bergen Groups 1-2 standings and first in North 1, Group 2 – striking on his final roll of the sectional for a 2-pin win.

Matt Lugo

Hackensack senior

Lugo makes the leap from the second team, having placed in the top 10 at all three sectional tournaments held during his career. He took 10th in North 2 after finishing ninth in Bergen County, anchored the Comets to the Big North Freedom title and averaged 209 in conference play.

Jake Willis

Indian Hills junior

In the same winter that he played 17 hockey games for his school, Willis developed into the Braves’ top bowler, averaging 208.8 overall. He had the third-high series at the Bergen team tournament for the Groups 1-2 champs, and he fired a third-place 689 at the North 1 sectional.

SECOND TEAM

Mirquis Erazo, Passaic Tech senior

Morgan Fuld, Fair Lawn senior

Hunter Louie, Bergen Tech senior

Justin Martin, Bergen Catholic senior

Diego Mercado, Pascack Valley senior

Joey Parrilli, Hackensack sophomore

THIRD TEAM

Tyler Kruk, Wallington senior

Tim Porfido, Bergen Tech senior

Camden Vogel, Eastern Christian senior

Jake Weiner, Wayne Valley senior

Ryan Woenne-McManus, Old Tappan senior

Theo Zamora, Bergen Tech sophomore
