Glenn committed to the Buckeyes July 30 after leadingOhio State football's 2022 schedule Lausanne to nine wins and a Tennessee Class 2A Division II semifinal appearance, completing 62.6% of his passes for 1,576 passing yards, 23 touchdowns and nine interceptions. The junior four-star quarterback also averaged 5.2 yards per carry and scored three rushing touchdowns.

Glenn received offers from TCU, Auburn, LSU and Florida State, but initially bought into the pitch coach Ryan Day sold to him on his first visit to Columbus.

“A lot of places say they can develop you and they can get you to the league and stuff like that," Glenn told The Dispatch. "Ohio State can say that and they have proof to back it up. They were just talking about their plan for me coming in. They kept it honest with me the whole time on the quarterback room and all the stuff like that. And they just flat out laid the plan: ‘You come here and you compete and you win a job, we will make you an NFL quarterback. Just trust us.’ And I truly do believe that.”
