The 2023 St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Rochester: What you need to know

The Tops Rochester St. Patrick’s Day Parade hits the streets of downtown Saturday, March 11.

The 2023 edition will be made up of 95 entries, 2,500 marchers, 10 bands, six Irish dance schools, fire trucks, floats and a little something extra.

“We have a Dixieland band that will be bringing up the rear,” said parade committee member Kate McBride. “We decided we wanted to do something so people could enjoy the parade right till the end,” hence the booking of a group called Not Like Other Guys Brass Band, made up of Eastman School of Music students.
