Following TCU’s national title runner-up season, eight Horned Frogs were selected in the 2023 NFL Draft.

How many of them can expect to be on their team’s final rosters on Tuesday when NFL teams are forced to make their final cuts?

Quentin Johnston

Johnston had eight receptions for 62 yards and a touchdown in three preseason games. Johnston, a first-round pick by the Los Angeles Chargers, is a lock to make the team. Johnston should factor in heavily to the Chargers offense this season.

Max Duggan

In two preseason games, Duggan threw for 34 yards with a touchdown and added 71 yards as a rusher. Duggan is firmly behind Justin Herbert and Easton Stick on the Chargers’ depth chart so the ex-TCU star could be cut.

However, The Atheltic’s Daniel Popper believes Duggan could return to the Chargers as practice squad QB if no other team claims him. Duggan was officially waived by the Chargers on Monday.

Derius Davis

Davis had five catches for 45 yards and an 81-yard punt return for a touchdown. Davis’ value on special teams is expected to help him make the Chargers 53-man roster.

Steve Avila

The second-round pick is a lock to make the Los Angeles Rams final roster with him expected to start at left guard to begin the season for the Rams.

Tre’vius Hodges-Tomlinson

The ex-TCU defensive back is also expected to make the roster after impressing the Chargers throughout training camp.

Dee Winters

Winters is expected to make the 49ers’ final roster joining one of the best defensive in the entire NFL after a successful training camp,

Dylan Horton

A fourth-round selection by the Houston Texans, Horton is expected to make the roster for a Texans team looking to improve after only winning three games last season.

Kendre Miller

Miller was drafted in the third round by the New Orleans Saints and had 22 carries for 42 yards with a touchdown on the ground and 47 receiving yards in three preseason games.

Miller is projected to make the Saints final roster. Miller could get playing time early with Alvin Kamara missing the first three games of the regular season due to suspension.
