2023 UGA commit Marcus Washington, Jr. reclassifies to 2022: here's what we know

The timeline is speeding up for Grovetown 2023 defensive back Marcus Washington, Jr.

The UGA football commit reclassified to the class of 2022 and will head to Athens a year early, according to a tweet Monday evening.

Washington, whose father Marcus Washington, Sr. played linebacker at Georgia under Mark Richt, was part of a talented 2023 Grovetown football class that features a pair of Division-I prospects in running back Joseph Jean and Athlete Cardale Rudolph.
