President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a regular meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Staff on Sunday, 29 January; he expressed confidence in the victory of Ukraine in the war in 2023.

Details: Reports of troop commanders on the operational situation at the front, in particular on the Donetsk front and in the south had been heard at the meeting. Information from intelligence about possible actions of the Russian Federation in the near future was also considered.
The participants of the meeting discussed the provision of the key needs of Ukraine's defence forces in basic types of weapons, military equipment and ammunition for the operations planned for 2023.
They also paid attention to the production, supply and repair of weapons, military equipment and ammunition for the needs of Ukraine's defence forces.
In addition, the participants of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Staff considered the issue of improving the system of individual and collective training of personnel.
"2023 must be and will definitely be the year of our victory!" Zelenskyy noted.
