2024 4-star CB Jayden Lewis commits to Hugh Freeze, Auburn football

AUBURN — Auburn football now has two players committed to the class of 2024.

Four-star cornerback Jayden Lewis out of Anniston High School near Gadsden announced his commitment to the Tigers on Wednesday. He joins fellow cornerback A'Mon Lane from Moody as the first two members of Auburn's 2024 recruiting class.

The 6-foot, 175-pound Lewis was at Auburn's Junior Day on Saturday. He's tabbed as the No. 264 overall player and the No. 24 cornerback in the 2024 class, according to the 247Sports Composite. He's also slotted as the 17th-best player in the state.

Lewis' 247Sports profile has safeties coach Zac Etheridge listed as his primary recruiter and cornerbacks coach Wesley McGriff as his secondary recruiter. Lewis posted a picture to Twitter on Saturday with Freeze and Etheridge at Junior Day.

Lewis holds other offers from Colorado, Florida State, Louisville, Maryland and Penn State, among others. He also has SEC offers from Arkansas, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Missouri, South Carolina, Tennessee and Vanderbilt
